AS WE WAKE UP, PEOPLE MAY BE HAVING TO TWEAK THEIR PLANS FOR THE DAY TO ACCOMMODATE THE DANGEROUS COLD CONDITIONS, AND THE DANGEROUS COLD IS GOING TO STICK AROUND FOR AT LEAST ANOTHER DAY BEFORE WE GET SOME RELIEF HERE. SO JUST A HEADS UP, WE\u2019RE GOING TO BE IN FOR THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS, AT LEAST TODAY AND TOMORROW, WHERE WE ARE GOING TO BE DEALING WITH SOME VERY BRUTALLY COLD CONDITIONS RIGHT NOW. 23 DEGREES IN OCALA, 26 IN ORLANDO, 25 IN DELAND. SO ALREADY THESE TEMPERATURES THAT WE\u2019RE SEEING THIS MORNING ABOUT 16. IT\u2019S BEEN 16 YEARS SINCE WE\u2019VE SEEN TEMPERATURES THIS COLD. THESE ARE THE ACTUAL AIR TEMPERATURES. BUT WE ARE DEALING WITH A VERY BREEZY WIND THIS MORNING OUT OF THE WEST NORTHWEST AT 10 TO 20MPH. THAT\u2019S REALLY ADDING THAT EXTRA BITE IN THE AIR. SO ACTUALLY, WHEN YOU STEP OUTSIDE TO THE SKIN, IT ACTUALLY FEELS MORE LIKE THE TEENS. WE\u2019LL SEE AN ABUNDANCE OF SUNSHINE TODAY ONCE THE SUN RISES. BUT DON\u2019T LET THAT SUNSHINE FOOL YOU. IT IS STILL GOING TO BE A VERY COLD AFTERNOON WITH HIGHS ONLY IN THE MIDDLE 40S THIS AFTERNOON. AND AGAIN, WE\u2019RE GOING TO STILL BE DEALING WITH RATHER BREEZY WIND IN THE NORTHWEST. THAT\u2019S STILL GOING TO ADD THAT EXTRA BITE IN THE AIR. SO YOU HAVE SOME OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES LATER ON TODAY. YOU\u2019RE STILL GOING TO NEED THOSE JACKETS AND EVEN THOSE COATS. THE CULPRIT BEHIND ALL OF THIS IS A VERY BIG AREA OF LOW PRESSURE OFF THE COAST OF THE CAROLINAS. THAT\u2019S BRINGING US THE ON THE BACKSIDE OF IT, VERY WINDY CONDITIONS AND ALSO THAT CHILLY ARCTIC AIR. THAT\u2019S WHY AS YOU\u2019RE WAKING UP ON THIS SUNDAY MORNING, IT IS BRUTALLY COLD. AND ON TOP OF THAT, THAT COLD AIR MOVING OVER THE WARM WATERS OF THE OCEAN AND THE GULF, ALSO CREATING LIKELY A FEW OCEAN EFFECT SNOW FLURRIES OUT TOWARDS THE WESTERN SIDE OF THE PENINSULA. CLEAR SKIES AS WE WAKE UP ON THIS SUNDAY MORNING THOUGH, BUT THIS DANGEROUS COLD WILL STICK AROUND THROUGH ABOUT AT LEAST 9:00. THEN WE GET INTO SOME OF THAT SUNSHINE THAT WILL HELP WARM US UP INTO THE MID 40S. BUT NOTICE AFTER SUNSET TONIGHT, TEMPERATURES ARE GOING TO QUICKLY DROP ONCE AGAIN. SO WE\u2019VE GOT ANOTHER BRUTALLY COLD NIGHT AHEAD. AS I MENTIONED EARLIER, THERE\u2019S STILL A CHANCE OF SEEING SOME FLURRIES THIS MORNING. YOU STILL SEE THAT 1% CHANCE HIGHLIGHTED IN THE WHITE THERE ON THE WESTERN SIDE OF THE PENINSULA. THIS IS OUT TOWARDS PINELLAS COUNTY AND ALSO HERNANDO AND HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY. THAT\u2019S ACTUALLY WHERE FIRST WARNING METEOROLOGIST ERIC BERTA IS ACTUALLY HEADING THIS MORNING. WILL ACTUALLY SEE IF HE CAN GET SOME SNOW FLURRIES LIVE ON CAMERA LATER ON THIS MORNING. VERY BLUSTERY CONDITIONS. STILL, WE ARE LOOKING AT A WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7:00 THIS MORNING. AND THEN AS WE BREAK DOWN YOUR FORECAST, ANOTHER BRUTALLY COLD NIGHT WITH TEMPERATURES BACK DOWN TO THE 20S AS YOU WAKE UP MONDAY MORNING, 23 IN DELAND, 20 IN OCALA. WE\u2019LL START OFF TOMORROW MORNING AT 28 IN ORLANDO AND HIGHS TOMORROW AFTERNOON ONLY IN THE MID 50S. LOOKING AHEAD FOR TOMORROW. ANOTHER FRIGID DAY WITH BRUTALLY COLD TEMPERATURES IN THE MORNING.
