Despite the loss, Flanagan still got an impressive performance from AJ Forges<\/a>, who dropped a double-double with 30 points and 11 rebounds. Forges has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last seven times he’s played. Jonathan Moesch<\/a> was another key player, shooting 58% from the field to rack up 20 points and seven boards.<\/p>\n

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Fort Lauderdale to victory, but perhaps none more so than Adler Olweean<\/a>, who went 8-for-15 en route to 22 points in addition to six rebounds and four steals. Olweean is becoming a predictor of the Flying L’s success: when he posts at least 20 points the team is undefeated (and 8-9 when he doesn’t). The team also got some help courtesy of Rawle Farose<\/a>, who shot 42% from the field on his way to 16 points and six boards.<\/p>\n

This is the second loss in a row for Flanagan and nudges their season record down to 7-12. Those losses can’t be blamed on the team’s offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.0 points over those games. As for Fort Lauderdale, the victory was their first at home, bumping their record up to 12-9.<\/p>\n

Flanagan has already played their next game, a 64-54 defeat against Western on the 22nd. Fort Lauderdale does not have any more games scheduled as of now.<\/p>\n
