A year after her big national breakout at the Grammy Awards, Tampa native Doechii<\/a> has taken home her second trophy.<\/p>\n

The rapper won a Grammy for Best Music Video for her clip to hit single \u201cAnxiety\u201d in pre-telecast awards handed out Sunday afternoon. Also nominated in the category: Sabrina Carpenter, Sade, Clipse and OK Go.<\/p>\n

This is Doechii\u2019s second Grammy<\/a>, following last year\u2019s Best Rap Album win for her mixtape \u201cAlligator Bites Never Heal.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAnxiety\u201d was nominated for a total of five Grammys on Sunday, including two biggies: Record of the Year and Song of the Year. The song lost two early awards: Best Rap Performance, falling to \u201cChains & Whips\u201d by Clipse, Pusha T and Malice featuring Kendrick Lamar and Pharrell Williams; and Best Rap Song, falling to \u201ctv off\u201d by Kendrick Lamar and Lefty Gunplay.<\/p>\n

Another Tampa Bay performer up for a Grammy was Valrico native Destin Conrad<\/a>, whose album \u201cLove on Digital\u201d was nominated for Best Progressive R&B Album. He fell to Durand Bernarr\u2019s \u201cBloom.\u201d<\/p>\n

But Tampa Bay can (sort of) claim at least one other Grammy win from Sunday. The late jazz legend Chick Corea, a longtime Clearwater resident before his death in 2021<\/a>, took home his 29th Grammy \u2014 third most of all time \u2014 for \u201cWindows – Live,\u201d a posthumous collaboration with Christian McBride and Brian Blade.<\/p>\n
