IT\u2019S ALL FOR POSITIVELY GOOD CAUSE. THE LARGEST PET FESTIVAL IN THE UNITED STATES IS RETURNING TO DOWNTOWN ORLANDO THIS WEEKEND. DON\u2019T FORGET THIS. IT\u2019S CALLED PAWS IN THE PARK. JOINING ME NOW FROM PET ALLIANCE OF GREATER ORLANDO. WE HAVE BRANDY BENNETT AND KENNY TAHLEQUAH. GREAT TO SEE YOU BOTH. GOOD MORNING. YES, WE\u2019RE HAPPY TO SEE THE PEOPLE, KENNY. BRANDY. BUT IT\u2019S ALL ABOUT YOU BROUGHT THESE PUPPIES. INTRODUCE US. THIS IS BUTTER AND SIRUP, I LOVE IT. WE SHOULD HAVE HAD PANCAKES WITH US TODAY. YOU\u2019RE REALLY MAKING US HUNGRY. THANKS FOR BRINGING ON BUTTER AND SIRUP ONTO A MORNING SHOW. IF FOLKS HAVE NEVER HEARD OFLIAN EXPLAIN IT TO THE CENTRAL FLORIDA COMMUNITY? SURE. SO WE HAVE TWO SHELTERS AND YOU CAN ADOPT ANIMALS, PET DOGS AND CATS. AND THEN WE ALSO HAVE TWO AFFORDABLE CLINICS FOR THE COMMUNITY. OKAY. AND WHEN YOU\u2019RE TALKING THAT IS THIS FOR VACCINATIONS, OTHER KINDS OF NEEDS THAT FAMILIES SAY, HEY IT\u2019S COSTLY TAKING CARE OF SOME OF THESE ANNUAL NECESSITIES. YES. AND WE OFFER ALL THOSE AT AFFORDABLE PRICING. WE LOVE THAT. AND WE\u2019VE GOT THE PUPS HERE. SO, YOU KNOW, THIS IS WHAT IT\u2019S ALL ABOUT. ADOPTION TODAY? THEY ARE NOT AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION JUST YET. JUST MOVED TO THE SHELTER FRIDAY. SO THEY\u2019RE TWO MONTHS OLD. THERE\u2019S BROTHER AND SISTER AND THEY STILL HAVE TO GET SPAYED AND NEUTERED BEFORE THEY CAN GO UP FOR ADOPTION, WHICH IS PROBABLY THE END OF THE WEEK. OKAY, WE\u2019LL SEE. I\u2019LL LET YOU KNOW. I LOVE THAT PAWS CROSSED. OKAY. SO BUTTER, WE\u2019VE GOT A CLOSE UP ON HER. LOOK HOW BEAUTIFUL YOU ARE. SO SWEET. I KNOW YOU CAN\u2019T REALLY SEE. HER EYES ARE SO SWEET AND HER TAIL IS WAGGING OVER HERE BEHIND THE BLANKET. CAN YOU JUST TURN? TURN AROUND AND SHOW THIS LITTLE TAIL WAG? GUYS, ARE YOU SEEING THIS? HOW MUCH? HOW MUCH DO YOU LOVE THIS LITTLE TAIL WAG? LOOK AT THAT. IT\u2019S GOING. YOU GOT THE BUTTER? SHE KNOWS YOU\u2019RE TALKING ABOUT. I KNOW, WE KNOW. OKAY, SO WE GOT TO GET TO THE EVENT HERE BECAUSE I WILL SPEND ALL THE TIME HERE WITH THE PUPS. THE 32ND ANNUAL PAWS IN THE PARK IS COMING BACK TO LAKE EOLA. WHAT IS EVERYBODY GOING TO EXPECT HERE, KENNY? OKAY, SO GRAB A LEASH AND COME TO LAKE EOLA, 10 A.M. SATURDAY THE SEVENTH. WE JUST HAVE SO MUCH FUN PLANNED. LIKE IT STARTS OFF WITH A COSTUME CONTEST AND THEN WE\u2019VE GOT THE VENDOR VILLAGE AND THE LOWER COURSE AGILITY COURSE IS NEW THIS YEAR. YEAH. SO WE HAVE A BEER GARDEN AS WELL FOR THOSE. YOU DON\u2019T EVEN HAVE TO BRING YOU CAN JUST COME AND SEE ALL THE PUPS THAT ARE THERE. YEAH, SO MUCH TO DO. IT\u2019S SUCH A GOOD TIME. WE\u2019RE LOOKING BACK AT A PREVIOUS EVENT AND I MEAN WONKA WAS THERE. WE\u2019VE GOT A LITTLE CHARACTER COSTUME. WAS THAT MAYBE SPONGEBOB? WE\u2019VE GOT SPRING. THEY\u2019RE TRYING TO USHER IN ALL THE COSTUMES. AND WE DID HAVE, YOU KNOW, A LOT OF COLD THIS WEEKEND, BUT IT LOOKS LIKE OUR NEXT WEEKEND IS LOOKING MUCH BETTER FOR US TO GET OUT AT LAKE EOLA. YEAH, IT\u2019S LOOKING LIKE IT\u2019S GOING TO BE WARM, SUNNY, A GOOD LIKE 60 SOMETHING DEGREE. SO IT SHOULD BE A GOOD DAY. YEAH. AND THIS IS ALL ABOUT SUPPORTING PEDAL IN THE WORK THAT YOU ALL KEEP DOING. AND ESPECIALLY WANT TO TOUT THAT NEW SHELTER. RIGHT, KENNY. WELL IT\u2019S IT\u2019S IT\u2019S HAPPENING NOW. I CAN\u2019T WAIT TO GIVE YOU A TOUR ONCE WE FINALLY OPEN. BUT, YOU KNOW, WE\u2019RE LOOKING TO OPEN UP THE BEGINNING OF MARCH AND WE\u2019RE WE\u2019RE GETTING THERE, LIKE, 98% THERE. WE\u2019RE IN THE FINAL FUNDRAISING GOAL PART. SO WE GOT ABOUT $350,000 LEFT FOR ANCILLARY THINGS THAT WE NEED. SO WE\u2019RE JUST DOING A BIG PUSH FOR THAT. ALL RIGHT. The free festival will feature a signature Pet Costume Contest, doggy sports, food and drinks, more than 100 pet vendors and pet adoption opportunities  from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.Pet Alliance provides food, medical care and shelter for dogs and cats until they find new, forever homes. Pet Alliance also works to develop progressive and innovative programs that help keep pets and people together.  Pet Alliance also provides low-cost spay and neuter surgeries as well as animal wellness through their public veterinary clinics.  Their shelter programs are supported entirely by donations.
