For three days, residents and visitors can slip inside iconic buildings, cultural landmarks, design studios and behind-the-scenes spaces that are usually off-limits\u2014or at least not free. It\u2019s Miami\u2019s biggest architectural open secret, briefly made public.<\/p>\n<p>Now in its third year, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.timeout.com\/miami\/things-to-do\/open-house-miami\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Open House Miami<\/a> is part of the global <a href=\"https:\/\/www.openhouseworldwide.org\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Open House Worldwide network<\/a>, which spans more than 60 cities. Locally, that means rare access across more than 20 neighborhoods, from Miami Beach to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.timeout.com\/miami\/coconut-grove\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Coconut Grove<\/a> to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.timeout.com\/miami\/design-district-and-wynwood\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Wynwood<\/a>. The lineup includes crowd-pleasers like <a href=\"https:\/\/www.timeout.com\/miami\/things-to-do\/best-miami-tours\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Art Deco walking tours<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.timeout.com\/miami\/things-to-do\/wynwood-walls\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Wynwood Walls explorations<\/a> and behind-the-scenes museum visits along with newer, slightly unexpected offerings, including bike tours, workshops and even a virtual reality preview of some of the future developments reshaping the city\u2019s skyline.<\/p>\n<p>Many of the most recognizable cultural institutions are in on the action. Festival-goers can snag free ticketed admission to spots like <a href=\"https:\/\/www.timeout.com\/miami\/things-to-do\/perez-art-museum-miami\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">P\u00e9rez Art Museum Miami<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.timeout.com\/miami\/things-to-do\/vizcaya-museum-gardens-miami-fl\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Vizcaya Museum &amp; Gardens<\/a>, Freedom Tower, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.timeout.com\/miami\/things-to-do\/the-bass\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">The Bass<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.timeout.com\/miami\/art\/art-week-at-the-wolfsonion\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">The Wolfsonian<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.timeout.com\/miami\/things-to-do\/rubell-museum\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">the Rubell Museum<\/a>, Superblue and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.timeout.com\/miami\/things-to-do\/phillip-and-patricia-frost-museum-of-science-miami-fl\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science<\/a>, all with no membership required.<\/p>\n<p>Architecture nerds will want to bookmark the talks and tours led by big-name designers, including Max Strang, Kobi Karp and Arquitectonica, while families can expect an expanded slate of kid-friendly programming like sip and paint sessions, including one at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.surfcomber.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Kimpton Surfcomber<\/a>, where participants will watercolor the hotel\u2019s Art Deco fa\u00e7ade.<\/p>\n<p>Tickets for individual experiences went live on Tuesday, January 27, and are first-come, first-served.
