{"id":140956,"date":"2026-02-02T18:52:08","date_gmt":"2026-02-02T18:52:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/140956\/"},"modified":"2026-02-02T18:52:08","modified_gmt":"2026-02-02T18:52:08","slug":"martin-county-news-conference-on-the-safe-recovery-of-missing-sisters","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/140956\/","title":{"rendered":"Martin County news conference on the safe recovery of missing sisters"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"text | article-text\">WATCH LIVE BELOW AT 2 P.M.:<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Investigators in Martin County are expected to share more details on Monday related to the <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.wptv.com\/news\/region-martin-county\/indiantown\/martin-county-sisters-found-safe-in-georgia-after-urgent-search-driver-arrested\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">recovery of two missing sisters this past weekend<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The girls, Lunabella Lozano, 12, and Kaelani Star Lozano, 14, of Indiantown, disappeared over the weekend but were found safe early Sunday morning after an urgent multi-state search, according to the Martin County Sheriff&#8217;s Office.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">An Amber Alert was issued Saturday night for the sisters. The Georgia Highway Patrol later located and stopped a vehicle believed to be carrying the girls at 12:16 a.m. Sunday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The Martin County sheriff said the girls were found inside the vehicle and recovered safely. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The driver, whose name has not been released, was arrested.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Investigators believed the sisters may have met the adult who took them online.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The Martin County Sheriff&#8217;s Office is holding a 2 p.m. news conference related to the case. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Stay with WPTV.com and News Channel 5 for updates.<\/p>\n<p class=\"copyright |\">Copyright 2026 Scripps Media, Inc.
