According to police, the crash happened before 5 p.m. Monday.<\/p>\n

CLEARWATER, Fla. \u2014 A car crashed<\/a> in Clearwater, slamming into a local business.<\/p>\n

The Clearwater police said Monday evening that a car crashed into the Robert’s Christmas Wonderland shop.<\/p>\n

No injuries were reported inside the store, and the 69-year-old man who was driving was taken to a local hospital “to be checked out.”<\/p>\n

According to officers, the man was driving westbound on Gulf to Bay Boulevard before losing control of his car.<\/p>\n

The man “crossed three eastbound lanes before hitting the building,” police said.<\/p>\n

According to Robert’s Christmas Wonderland’s website<\/a>, the business has been in the Tampa Bay for more than 40 years.<\/p>\n

So far in 2026, preliminary data from the Florida Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles<\/a> shows that Pinellas County has seen 897 crashes, leaving 1 person dead and 596 people injured.<\/p>\n
