{"id":141802,"date":"2026-02-03T11:20:09","date_gmt":"2026-02-03T11:20:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/141802\/"},"modified":"2026-02-03T11:20:09","modified_gmt":"2026-02-03T11:20:09","slug":"big-thaw-continues-before-next-cold-front-arrives-in-central-florida","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/141802\/","title":{"rendered":"Big thaw continues before next cold front arrives in Central Florida"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The big thaw continues Tuesday in Central Florida.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Temperatures are expected to reach the mid-60s Tuesday afternoon and climb into the 70s Wednesday before a cold front arrives mid-week.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The incoming front is scheduled to move through Wednesday night and early Thursday morning, bringing a chance for rain and another drop in temperatures.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">While not as extreme as previous weather events, the front will introduce windy conditions and cooler air for the end of the work week.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Tuesday began with below-freezing temperatures in many locations across the region.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Wednesday is forecast to be the warmest day of the week, with highs reaching the 70s.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">This warmup is expected to last for only one day before the front changes the weather pattern and brings a chance for needed rain to the area.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Thursday will see dropping temperatures and windy conditions as the front moves through.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">By Friday morning, temperatures are expected to return to the 30s, with afternoon highs reaching the 60s.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Temperatures are forecast to rebound over the weekend, with highs returning to the 70s.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.wftv.com\/mobile-apps\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:Click here;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">Click here<\/a> to download our free news, weather and smart TV apps.
