CAIRO, Ga. (WCTV) – A \u201cdangerous fugitive\u201d was arrested in Cairo, according to the Grady County Sheriff\u2019s Office. <\/p>\n
Grady County Deputies and the U.S. Marshals arrested Navaris Broomfield, 35, on Tuesday. <\/p>\n
Broomfield was wanted to violent aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, robbery, petit theft and resisting, following an incident at a Tallahassee Dollar General. <\/p>\n

During the incident, Broomfield ran over a store employee with his van and left the scene, according to GCSO. <\/p>\n
The sheriff\u2019s office said Broomfield was living out of his vehicle in Cairo when he was taken into custody. <\/p>\n
During the arrest, he was found in felony possession of synthetic drugs, GCSO said. <\/p>\n
Also arrested was Ashley Lewis, 39, who was living with Broomfield. She was found in possession of drug paraphernalia, according to GCSO.<\/p>\n
