TALLAHASSEE\u00a0\u2013\u00a0The 2026 Florida State beach volleyball program is giving fans their first chance to see the team in action at their annual Garnet and Gold Scrimmage on Saturday, February 7th. The match begins at 4:30 p.m. and admission is free.\u00a0

\nThe Seminoles went 27-13 in 2025, ending the season with a No. 8 ranking and numerous awards.\u00a0Alexis Durish<\/a>,\u00a0Audrey Koenig<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Gella Andrew<\/a>\u00a0were selected by USA volleyball to compete on the 2025 Beach Collegiate National Team, with assistant coach\u00a0Nick Lucena<\/a>\u00a0serving as one of three coaches.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Carra Sassack<\/a>\u00a0was given the NCAA Elite 90 award for earning the highest cumulative GPA at the finals site for one of the NCAA’s 90 championships. This marked a major milestone for head coach\u00a0Brooke Niles<\/a>, who has emphasized her athlete’s performance in the classroom. Niles has coached six CCSA Scholar-Athletes of the Year, 73 ACC Academic Honor recipients and three Weaver-James-Corrigan Postgraduate Scholarship winners.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Durish and Koenig earned CCSA Co-Pair of the Year, Andrew was named Freshman of the Year and\u00a0Bailey Higgins<\/a>\u00a0was added to the All-American Freshman Team. Niles also received her third CCSA Coach of the Year award.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The 2026 season brings new opponents for the Sandy Noles\u00a0following their conference realignment with the Big 12. The conference championship is set to take place in Tucson, Arizona in April.\u00a0<\/p>\n
