A heavy law enforcement presence could be seen in a St. Johns County neighborhood Tuesday night. <\/p>\n
The Sheriff\u2019s Office says the call involved a person deputies described as mentally unstable at a home on Jennie Lake Court. <\/p>\n
The St. Johns County Sheriff\u2019s Office responded to the scene, and out of an abundance of caution, SWAT and the Crisis Negotiation Team were also called in.<\/p>\n
Officials say the incident is active but isolated. Residents and others are urged to stay away from the area. <\/p>\n
Around 10:53 p.m., SJSO said it had verified that the subjects involved in this incident were safe following \u201cseveral hours of communication.\u201d <\/p>\n
\u201cThere is no threat to the community. SJSO has concluded its response and is clearing the neighborhood. The subject has been provided the resources needed,\u201d the agency said. <\/p>\n
