The annual boat shows in Fort Lauderdale and Palm Beach tend to attract the most attention among stateside superyacht enthusiasts. With a return to one of its former in-water locations, the Miami International Boat Show seeks to attract more buyers, too. For the first time in eight years, it includes yachts and megayachts to 125 feet (38 meters) along Miami Beach\u2019s Collins Avenue. From February 11 to 15, these are among the yachts you can tour, as part of the Miami Beach Yacht Collection area.<\/p>\n

Azimut Magellano 30M Yacht<\/p>\n

The largest model in its Magellano series<\/a>, this 97-footer (29.63-meter) echoes the spirit of the explorer Ferdinand Magellan. Long range and long stays aboard are the priorities. A battery bank lets you turn off the genset while at anchor, and about 754 square feet (70 square meters) of glass keeps the interior light and bright. Bedsides this megayacht, Azimut will have the Magellano 25M plus the Grande 26M and 32M on display.<\/p>\n

A series that has met with quick success for the Overmarine Group, the Mangusta Oceano 39 yacht taps into the desire to feel more immersed in anchorages and while at sea. An abundance of glass characterizes the project, including slide-open floor-to-ceiling glass on more than one deck. One of the nicest features is a skylight in the main-deck master suite. It\u2019s the bottom of the pool on the 129-footer\u2019s (39-meter\u2019s) foredeck.<\/p>\n

\"Princess<\/p>\n

Princess Yachts X80 Yacht<\/p>\n

Bearing styling by Pininfarina, the X80 is part of Princess Yachts\u2019 X Class. The series provides owners and guests with more alfresco space than you\u2019d expect to find. That\u2019s thanks to her Superfly configuration, with an elongated flying bridge. The X80 is nearly 83 feet (25.18 meters), a good size for first-time superyacht buyers. A top speed between 25 and 27 knots pledges wind-in-your-hair fun, too.<\/p>\n

\"Sanlorenzo<\/p>\n

This is the flagship of Sanlorenzo\u2019s SL fleet, at 121 feet (36.92 meters). \u201cA\u201d stands for \u201cAsymmetric,\u201d meaning a walkaround deck on one side and interior space pushed fully out to the hull side on the other. There actually is a side deck here, of course, rising up over the saloon. Lots of glass and a fold-down balcony make barriers between the inside and the surrounding anchorages feel as if they don\u2019t exist. Sanlorenzo is additionally exhibiting the SL86A, plus the SX100, at the Miami Beach Yacht Collection.<\/p>\n

\"80<\/p>\n

Sunreef Yachts 80 Sunreef Power Yacht<\/p>\n

Introduced seven years ago, the 80 Sunreef Power yacht series has attracted buyers from around the world, including Rafael Nadal, who christened his yacht Great White<\/a>. A \u00a079-foot (23.95-meter)\u00a0catamaran, the beamy stance provides more than 3,875 square feet (360 square meters) of relaxation and entertainment space. Although catamarans are already renown for their efficiency, an Eco version of the series add solar panels.<\/p>\n

\"Sunseeker<\/p>\n

Sunseeker 82 Ocean Enclosed Yacht<\/p>\n

Making her American debut at the Miami Beach Yacht Collection, this 82\u20196\u201d (25.14-meter) project has a fully enclosed upper deck. It incorporates the helm as well as a cozy lounge. There\u2019s still space, however, for sunpads and a hot tub outside. Additionally, multiple configurations are available for the main deck. They include a formal galley, an entirely open-plan layout, and the master suite fully forward.<\/p>\n

\"SuperYacht<\/p>\n

The Miami Beach Yacht Collection isn\u2019t the only show area where you can tour large yachts. In fact, the Miami International Boat Show still includes the SuperYacht Miami area. It\u2019s at the Yacht Haven Grande Miami marina, featuring broker-listed boats.<\/p>\n

Further in keeping with past practice, the show organizers are supporting charitable causes. A portion of ticket sales will benefit the Miami Cupid Splash, a non-profit organization that hosts an annual polar plunge for conservation. Plus, show organizers are donating $250,000 for public benefits and community initiatives in Miami Beach.<\/p>\n
