The park is located on the very ground where the Johnson brothers\u2019 home once stood, the place where the \u201cBlack National Anthem\u201d was written. The family-friendly event features oral and visual storytelling from local artists and longtime LaVilla voices alongside live performances and a fashion showcase. You\u2019ll also have plenty of opportunities to support Black-owned businesses with vendors set up throughout the park.
