Wednesday was also her 70th birthday.

Authorities said Haizlip may be vulnerable and in need of additional care or support. Her sister and guardian, Mary Palacios, said she also suffers from schizophrenia.

“The biggest fear is that something’s going to happen to her, that somebody’s going to hurt her, and we don’t want anybody to hurt her,” Palacios added. “She’s not the kind of person that’s going to hurt anybody. She herself is very loving, caring, a God loving person, so pray for her and we’re praying for her.”

Mary said her sister responds to the name Patty.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to contact Hollywood police at 954-764-4357.

🏠 News From Your Neighborhood

Copyright 2025 by WPLG Local10.com – All rights reserved.

Ryan Mackey

Ryan Mackey is a Digital Journalist at WPLG.
