Lee County Government is coordinating with its partner agencies for continued cold-weather outreach. <\/p>\n
Plans include:<\/p>\n
\u2022 \u00a0Warming Bus in Lehigh: Lee County Transit (LeeTran) will provide a stand-by bus at the Lehigh Acres Park & Ride from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 6. The Park & Ride is at 1121 Village Lakes Blvd., Lehigh Acres<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u2022 \u00a0HOT Teams: Housing, Outreach and Treatment (HOT) teams will be in the community Thursday afternoon and Friday morning, Feb. 6. Team members will connect with individuals experiencing homelessness to provide resources and distribute cold-weather supplies, including jackets, socks, blankets and hand warmers. <\/p>\n The Lee County Department of Human & Veteran Services and partners typically coordinate plans during timeframes in which the temperature drops below 40 degrees, true temperature or with windchill, for a period of time.<\/p>\n Additional information and resources are available on Human & Veteran Services\u2019 (HVS) Reach app, which is a free download in the Apple App Store and Google Play. App users are encouraged to sign up for push alerts to receive timely updates.<\/p>\n Lee County\u2019s coordinated entry phone line is available to connect individuals to services and resources.
