<\/a><\/p>\nThe Mardi Gras Tribute Store is in the park\u2019s Hollywood section. The entrance is the Williams of Hollywood facade, and the exit is Studio Styles.<\/p>\n
TonTon\u2019s Roadhouse The theme of this year\u2019s store is \u201cTonTon\u2019s Roadhouse,\u201d inspired by the event\u2019s mascot, Baron TonTon. Guests enter through a large carnival-style skull face with corrugated paneling and a fleur-de-lys coin around it.<\/p>\n To the side of the main entrance is a patio add-on to the facade resembling a rundown gas station. A \u201cFill\u2019s Gas\u201d sign is atop the patio roof.<\/p>\n A rusty gas pump is at the corner of the patio.<\/p>\n Crates, barrels, and a rocking chair sit on the porch. Decorations on the furniture include old Coca-Cola boxes, Mardi Gras beads, and fishing nets. More beads hang from the roof.<\/p>\n This cooler is covered in bumper stickers from last year\u2019s cryptid-inspired Mardi Gras Tribute Store<\/a>.<\/p>\n A female statue on the corner of the porch wears more beads and gold jewelry.<\/p>\n The wind chime is adorned with bronze flat Bigfoots.<\/p>\n Roadhouse Bar The first few rooms resemble an old roadhouse bar. There are tall tables and chairs to the side. Some merchandise is on a shelving unit in the corner. In the center is an old bumper pool table.<\/p>\n Next to the door are retro posters advertising liquors. The \u201cI Brake for Good Doggos\u201d bumper sticker on the door frame is from last year\u2019s store.<\/p>\n More cryptid-related bumper stickers and old Tribute Store posters are on this bulletin board. These include a poster for Gerg \u201cThe Llama\u201d Williams and the Matte Finish Orchestra. A notice to team members says Jessica M. has returned to \u201cpick up the slack\u201d of other employees. A small Bigfoot figure is on top of the board.<\/p>\n A \u201cNow Hiring\u201d flyer is seeking an artisanal chef for the roadhouse. There are various sticky notes \u2014 one says at least eight rats were spotted last week.<\/p>\n There are several brochures, including for Legends of the Bayou, Jean Lafitte\u2019s Haunted Pirate Mini Golf, and Ghost Country tours. A note says the \u201cbest view of the parade\u201d is from the newly renovated Hotel Anna Marie. The hotel\u2019s picture is of the Williams of Hollywood facade.<\/p>\n On the other side of the door is a rack of pool balls and cues. A nearby poster advertises Nusquam Riot, a band performing at the roadhouse. Nusquam is another reference to last year\u2019s store, and the image on the poster resembles Bigfoot.<\/p>\n On the bumper pool table are two trays of drinks. One tray holds cocktails, shot glasses, and a branded TonTon\u2019s Roadhouse coaster.<\/p>\n A drink on the other tray is labeled \u201cNeverclear,\u201d a play on Everclear. The beer bottle label reads:<\/p>\n Beware the brew from the dawn of time. This brew was known to no one but the creatures of the deep jungles. Now, it is available to you for a limited time. Man the harpoon and pull one up!<\/p>\n A merchandise display in this corner is made of chairs draped with beads and masks. On the walls and floors are posters.<\/p>\n According to the posters, acts performing soon at the roadhouse include Ace of Clubs and The Haley Goose Dudecet.<\/p>\n This Island Schnapps is a reference to the 1955 sci-fi film This Island Earth. It even has one of the aliens drawn on the ad.<\/p>\n You may notice some red lobsters throughout the store. We\u2019ll get back to those.<\/p>\n Joseph Brauer\u2019s Bourbon Barrel Band and Nusquam County\u2019s very own TNT are also performing soon.<\/p>\n One of the liquor flyers is for Gergmeister \u2014\u00a0a reference to the recurring Universal Tribute Store character Gerg the Llama.<\/p>\n On the ceiling are colorful painted tiles. Each features a different, unique Mardi Gras-inspired design. Giant Mardi Gras beads hang from the panels.<\/p>\n The next room has similar tiles and giant beads on the ceiling.<\/p>\n At the back of this room is the actual \u201cbar\u201d with more merchandise on display.<\/p>\n A liquor cabinet against one wall has an eerie green light glowing on various vintage bottles.<\/p>\n More posters on the wall include an \u201cIf You See Something, Say Something\u201d poster featuring Bigfoot. A poster for an \u201cacorn liqueur\u201d may be a reference to Earl the Squirrel. Amity Malt is inspired by Jaws. There\u2019s also a \u201cLost Dog\u201d flyer featuring Beethoven the dog.<\/p>\n A chalkboard lists Roadhouse Specials and entertainment:<\/p>\n Jess\u2019 FAVE Holiday Shot \u2013\u00a0Gergnog Now Still Available! Please Buy One!!!<\/p>\n Now On Tap<\/p>\n Black Lagoon Brew (a reference to Creature From the Black Lagoon)<\/p>\n Green Planet Pilsner (a reference to E.T.)<\/p>\n Amity Malt Light<\/p>\n Machine is broken \u2013\u00a0SORRY, NO ICE<\/p>\n Seafood Boil Next Saturday<\/p>\n Live Music Nightly<\/p>\n Happy \u201cHour\u201d Mondays<\/p>\n On the back wall are shelves of various bottles. A \u201cDon\u2019t Drink + Drive\u201d sign is below. A TonTon\u2019s Roadhouse-branded mirror is next to the shelves.<\/p>\n On the bar are more TonTon\u2019s Roadhouse coasters and some abandoned glasses of beer.<\/p>\n The TonTon\u2019s menu lists some of the beers and liquors we\u2019ve already seen. Additions include Gigawatt Lager, Mr. Fusion Ale, Wake Up Juice, The Marty McFlight (all Back to the Future references), Magdol Meade (another E.T. reference), Finnegan\u2019s Stout, The Skinny Wednesday, TonTon\u2019s Spirit, Earlort Shots, Never Gonna Give You Schnapps, and Spiked Gerg Nog.<\/p>\n There is fake TonTon\u2019s Roadhouse merchandise behind the bar, including mugs, posters, and t-shirts. The visible tee says \u201cI got scared by a head on a stick\u201d with a shaking skull pictured in a graveyard. This may be a reference to Disney\u2019s The Haunted Mansion.<\/p>\n The mugs are adorned with TonTon\u2019s Roadhouse and Legends of the Bayou stickers. The bottles above include more Never Clear and Gator Shine. The latter has \u201cKing Cake Flavour.\u201d<\/p>\n In the opposite corner is another merchandise shelf surrounded by posters. A skeleton wearing a Mardi Gras tee sits on top of the shelf.<\/p>\n These posters advertise Rejoignez La F\u00eate, The Circle Back, Gregory and Ten Ton Tikis, and the Electric Jazz Orchestra.<\/p>\n Another Gerg poster and a Jazz poster hang behind a popcorn machine. Above them is the bar\u2019s supposed first dollar with \u201cLet the Good Times Roll\u201d written across it.<\/p>\n The popcorn machine was also in last year\u2019s Mardi Gras Tribute Store.<\/p>\n Another poster past the bar is for The Elegant Scarlet and her Jazz Ensemble.<\/p>\n A group of mugs on a crate near the end of the bar has King and Queen card designs featuring Gators.<\/p>\n On the ground next to the popcorn machine is a rat that the exterminators missed.<\/p>\n Thankfully, according to this sign above a door, there is a dog on the premises. Maybe the dog can catch the rat.<\/p>\n This small hallway has a chainlink fence in front of an apparent storage area.<\/p>\n Behind the fence are more posters, boxes, and crates of Coca-Cola.<\/p>\n There are flyers for Magdol Meade by Green Planet Brewing Co. Magdol is one of the residents of the Green Planet, as seen in E.T. Adventure. This particular poster has tape across Magdol\u2019s eyes, reading \u201cDO NOT STARE into the eyes of Magdol\u201d \u2014\u00a0possibly a reference to Indiana Jones Adventure and Mara at Disneyland.<\/p>\n A Haunted Hollow Hills t-shirt hangs on the nearby wall. This is a reference to the 2022 Halloween Horror Nights Tribute Store<\/a>. Below that is a vintage (broken) phone.<\/p>\n The Jet\u2019s Black Cat Club poster previously appeared in the 2023 Mardi Gras Tribute Store<\/a>. <\/p>\n A small space between rooms holds a dartboard game.<\/p>\n It\u2019s \u201cOut of Order\u201d according to a sign. More of those familiar stickers, posters, and flyers cover the nearby walls.<\/p>\n On a chair next to the dartboard machine is a Mardi Gras top hat and alligator-print coat. Maybe these belong to TonTon?<\/p>\n A better look at the Never Clear logo reveals it may be a reference to Never Land from Disney\u2019s Peter Pan. The artwork has a similar style to the Never Land map.<\/p>\n Music Room The next space is a music room where bands ostensibly perform, and guests can listen to a jukebox (just kidding, it\u2019s out of order). Mardi Gras garland lines the ceiling. There are a few more tables and chairs. An opening looks into the store\u2019s first room.<\/p>\n The jukebox has colorful, glowing stripes. On the brick wall behind it are more posters.<\/p>\n Though an \u201cOut of Order\u201d sign is on the jukebox, we can still see the dozens of songs available. Which ones do you recognize?<\/p>\n Racks of Legends of the Bayou bumper stickers and postcards are on top of the jukebox.<\/p>\n Around the corner from a display of merchandise is a blue-lit space.<\/p>\n A TonTon\u2019s Roadhouse mural is behind a set of drums and instrument cases. Shelves of merchandise are on either side.<\/p>\n A banner reads \u201cTonTon\u2019s Roadhouse Mardi Gras Party\u201d with the dates of Universal Mardi Gras 2026 (February 7 to April 4).<\/p>\n A moose head on the wall is decorated with lights, garland, and beads.<\/p>\n A sign below him explains he\u2019s part of The Game of Marty Graw Moose, encouraging patrons to throw beads at his antlers.<\/p>\n Most of the displays in this room are made out of tables and chairs stacked together.<\/p>\n The painting depicts someone working in a brick building next to a stream.<\/p>\n More painted tiles and giant beads are on the ceiling.<\/p>\n A beaded curtain is in the doorway to the next room.<\/p>\n Kitchen We\u2019ve found ourselves in the roadhouse\u2019s kitchen. Right next to the door is a fridge, which you can actually open.<\/p>\n Inside are fake foods and all the tiny cryptid figures from last year\u2019s store.<\/p>\n On the bottom shelf is an alligator\u2019s head.<\/p>\n A sign notes that the regular menu won\u2019t be available until a new grill comes in. A note on the fridge says that it won\u2019t be for another month.<\/p>\n Next to the fridge is a work table with various foods, spices, and cooking materials.<\/p>\n A note from management says, \u201cPlease stop taking the tiny babies. They are for King Cake!\u201d<\/p>\n There\u2019s a recipe (#91) for Butter & Sesame Fava Beans, including a Chianti. This is a reference to The Silence of the Lambs (1991).<\/p>\n Loaves of bread sit untouched nearby.<\/p>\n Across from the counter are metal racks with more supplies. A couple of cast-iron skillets hang on the wall.<\/p>\n The canned food includes Llama Beans.<\/p>\n There\u2019s an angry creature in one of these pots.<\/p>\n There are those lobsters were were talking about. Lines of them lead into the next room.<\/p>\n The doorway is painted with neon flames.<\/p>\n Street This hallway resembles a dark, creepy New Orleans street. The faces of voodoo gods are painted on a brick wall, glowing neon.<\/p>\n Around the corner is the roadhouse\u2019s broken grill. <\/p>\n Like the fridge, you can open this for a surprise.<\/p>\n A sign labels this as Calvacade Ave (apparently a misspelling of \u201ccavalcade\u201d). The P.S. Songbird flyer is a reference to the 2024 Mardi Gras Tribute Store<\/a>.<\/p>\n Fake balconies overlook the street. A mural on one wall comprises painted and 3D elements.<\/p>\n A top hat-wearing skull is pictured against the moon in space. Around it are various shapes, and the King Gator on his float. There\u2019s another Calvacade Ave sign and a Dressed Ave sign.<\/p>\n A red glowing window is next to a Signature St sign.<\/p>\n More posters in this area include a \u201cKeep Searching for King Gator\u201d poster. This appeared in last year\u2019s Mardi Gras Tribute Store. Some of the bricks are painted in neon colors.<\/p>\n A streetlamp is in the corner. Glowing music notes on the ground lead to a wall with traffic cones in front of it.<\/p>\n There\u2019s a shopping cart full of props, including a guitar and a clown mask.<\/p>\n On this wall is a mural of a door and a piano with a Baron St. sign.<\/p>\n Around the corner is a brightly colored wall leading to the House of TonTon.<\/p>\n Above are some creepy props, like a duck mask.<\/p>\n Time to enter TonTon\u2019s House.<\/p>\n TonTon\u2019s House First is a small room full of voodoo supplies. There are dolls pinned to the walls and various bottles.<\/p>\n A skeleton in the corner wears a top hat. There are also more lobsters \u2014\u00a0they must have an affinity for TonTon.<\/p>\n Lanterns and candles provide the light in this space.<\/p>\n There are more neon touches. On a painted board is Bill Cipher from Gravity Falls.<\/p>\n The house is just that small room. It leads out into a graveyard illuminated blue. Plants hang over the walkways.<\/p>\n A screen shows Baron TonTon and skeletons dancing in a graveyard. This may be a reference to Disney\u2019s The Skeleton Dance cartoon.<\/p>\n Angel statues in the area hold lobsters.<\/p>\n A creepy tree is depicted as a flat on one wall behind headstones.<\/p>\n A pair of flower pots around a gate is also adorned with lobsters.<\/p>\n Above the door into the next room are two large heads. A lobster is in one of the mouths.<\/p>\n The next room feels like a living room with vintage furniture. There\u2019s a decal rug on the floor. A pair of high-backed chairs sits next to a mirror.<\/p>\n Hatboxes, a flower pot, and a lamp are on a side table.<\/p>\n Next to the hatboxes are brochures for P.S. Songbird. And a lobster.<\/p>\n There\u2019s a grandfather clock draped in beads.<\/p>\n A globe sits next to the chairs.<\/p>\n Hotel Anna Marie The last room takes guests back out onto the streets of New Orleans in time for a Mardi Gras parade. There\u2019s a \u201cNo Parking\u201d sign reminding residents that this is the parade route.<\/p>\n Traffic cones create the queue. The checkout counter resembles a hot dog kiosk under a yellow umbrella.
