The 264 homes will be designated for households earning 50 to 120 percent of the area median income (AMI). By <a href=\"https:\/\/www.stpete.org\/residents\/housing\/income_limits.php\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Pinellas County\u2019s income standards<\/a>, a four-person household could earn between $52,150 to $125,150 annually to qualify.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-37842\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/Screenshot-2026-02-05-at-11.51.30-AM.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1200\" height=\"751\"  \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-caption-text\">Conceptual renderings. Image from HP Capital Group\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.stpete.org\/news_detail_T30_R1589.php\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">The City of St. Pete<\/a> shares that of the 264 homes, 74 will be one-bedroom units, 162 will be two-bedroom units, and 28 will be three-bedroom units. Amenities at Fairfield Avenue Apartments will include computer labs, children\u2019s playgrounds, a swimming pool, and bike parking spots.<\/p>\n<p>HP Capital Group is the developer. An affiliate of the company, Fairfield Avenue Apartments LLC, purchased the community\u2019s 6.9-acre property for $6.2 million late last year. Tibbetts Lumber Company was the seller. The family-owned business had occupied the property since the 1970s. <a href=\"https:\/\/floridayimby.com\/2024\/10\/fairfield-apartments-to-offer-264-affordable-housing-units-at-3300-fairfield-avenue-south-st-petersburg-fl.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Fairfield Avenue Apartments<\/a> has been in the works since 2022, when Florida YIMBY first shed light on the venture.<\/p>\n<p>KAST Construction is the general contractor. The firm intends to finish the project sometime in 2028.
