Dallas Trinity FC<\/a> rolled past Fort Lauderdale United FC with a 4-0 road victory as four different players scored Saturday night.<\/p>\n

The win extends Trinity\u2019s unbeaten run to six games and marks the first victory of head coach Nathan Thackeray\u2019s tenure<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“We have a lot of talent on this team and a lot of people have been showing up, bringing their game. It just clicked and all came together tonight,\u201d midfielder Wayny Balata said.<\/p>\n

Heather Stainbrook opened the scoring for Dallas in the 25th minute on a strike assisted by Camryn Lancaster. The tally flipped the roles from Trinity\u2019s lone goal last week against Brooklyn<\/a>, when Lancaster scored on an assist from Stainbrook.<\/p>\n

While Stainbrook gave Dallas the early lead, the floodgates didn\u2019t open until the second half. Balata scored just eight minutes after the break to double Trinity\u2019s lead. She then assisted Lauren Flynn\u2019s strike in the 71st minute to make it 3-0. The talented 18-year-old Sealey Strawn of Prosper capped the impressive performance with a goal in the 86th minute.<\/p>\n

The lopsided victory kept Dallas firmly inside the playoff places at third position in the league table. It also brought them closer to second-placed Sporting JAX which lost Saturday to DC Power FC. With a game in hand, Trinity is just four points behind Jacksonville in second place and six points off Lexington SC atop the table.<\/p>\n

“It\u2019s an excellent group that\u2019s constantly wanting to learn and get better. If they want to grow, then the opportunities for them are endless. I\u2019m really happy for them tonight,\u201d Thackeray said.<\/p>\n

Trinity will have a chance to make up ground in the table next Saturday when they take on league-leading Lexington on the road.<\/p>\n

Forward Camryn Lancaster broke free in the 58th minute to score Dallas\u2019 only goal of the afternoon.<\/p>\n
