It would comprise 71 units: 18 studios, 41 one-bedroom units, six two-bedroom units with dens, and six two-bedroom units. Most of the homes would be under 700 square feet, with the smallest unit starting at 583 square feet. Conceptual renderings suggest no major communal amenities.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-37879\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/Screenshot-2026-02-07-at-4.43.53-PM.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1200\" height=\"459\"  \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-caption-text\">Memorial Plan San Jose \u2013 Ferdinand Funeral Home is slated to be replaced with an apartment building. Image from Google Earth<\/p>\n<p>Developer JPC Real Estate Holdings LLC has the 1.08-acre property under contract from its current owners, Garcia Funeral Homes and 240 E 4th Avenue LLC. Pascual Perez Kiliddjian Star Architects + Planners is the architect. At the time of publication, our sources noted that while the project had secured approval, the developer was unsure of an official construction timeline. The 14,139-square-foot funeral home and crematory remains operational.<\/p>\n<p>The four-story residential project isn\u2019t the only development unfolding in Hialeah.
