<\/a><\/p>\nThe Red Coconut Club is a mid-century tiki-style venue on the upper level of Universal CityWalk Orlando, next to Bob Marley \u2013 A Tribute to Freedom. It typically receives holiday makeovers for Mardi Gras (Cursed Coconut Club), Halloween (Dead Coconut Club), and Christmas (Green & Red Coconut Club).<\/p>\n
The Cursed Coconut Club\u2019s operating hours are:<\/p>\n Wednesdays, Thursdays, & Sundays: 5 p.m. \u2013 12 a.m.\u00a0<\/p>\n Fridays & Saturdays \u2013 5 p.m. \u2013 1 a.m. The banners advertise \u201cSalon Du Samedi\u201d with \u201cCryptids, Spirits, Dive Bar\u201d. A skull with a top hat is pictured alongside a Bigfoot and a potion bottle. Baron Samedi is a major Lwa spirit of Haitian Vodou sometimes associated with Mardi Gras.<\/p>\n The panels feature spray-painted designs, including skeletons, aliens, and cryptids. A faux brick wall in front of the club is topped with wrought iron.<\/p>\n The corrugated paneling continues on the other side of the balcony. There are more skulls, coffins, and a gravestone.<\/p>\n Main Floor The 2025 Tribute Store was centered around Cyrus T. Pavo\u2019s Legends of the Bayou Museum<\/a> with a focus on myths, cryptids, and more. This year\u2019s Cursed Coconut Club calls back to that theming. A Legends of the Bayou welcomes sign welcomes guests and hints to what they will find in the club. <\/p>\n Tombstones and cryptids decorate the first floor. <\/p>\n Some of the tombstones have been decorated with Mardi Gras beads and other items that coordinate with the dearly departed. <\/p>\n The \u201cSalon Du Samedi\u201d bar area is located on the first floor, aligning with the Haitian Vodou sometimes associated with Mardi Gras and bayou area of New Orleans. <\/p>\n The seating area surrounding the bar resembles a Vodou tavern with dark red drapes and burning candles decorating the area.<\/p>\n Behind the bar are framed skulls, artifacts, and ingredients that might be used to summon spirits from beyond. <\/p>\n Devilish decor is displayed nearby with skulls, books, and ingredients stored in a bookshelf. <\/p>\n Candles sit on some of the tables leading into the dance floor area. <\/p>\n The dance floor resembled a bayou with blue lights reflecting off the green foliage to look like murky water. <\/p>\n The DJ booth looks like an old shack along the bayou covered with buoys and moss. Spanish moss also hangs from the ceiling as aquatic vegetation and trees \u201cgrow\u201d from places along the walls. <\/p>\n Maps, signage, and warning signs are posted.<\/p>\n The Cursed Coconut Club sign describes the swap and surrounding areas: <\/p>\n Since the earliest peoples settled here, many have believed this swamp and the surrounding area to house a vast array of creatures and cryptids, inspiring folklore to present day. Locals and tourists alike report more \u201csightings\u201d in this swamp than in any other region within the state of Louisiana; the Rougarou, the Honey Island Swamp Monster, Feu-Follet, Letiche, and Lutin are only some of the unusual figures said to linger under the cover of its mist. Some legends even state that the mythical Papa Ghede himself, the Baron Samedi, dwells incarnate somewhere amongst these trees, not only protecting the boundary between the worlds of the living and the dead, but keeping and celebrating the tales of these phenomena that they may exist forever, if only remembered in the liminal space of story.<\/p>\n Another \u201cdock\u201d and seating area is decorated to fit with the overall design. <\/p>\n Mausoleum Crypts and vines line the walls behind the seating areas just next to the stairs.<\/p>\n Upstairs, another bar called Louis\u2019 Last Call serves cold beer and cocktails in a \u201cdowntown\u201d New Orleans-style bar. <\/p>\n Stairway Heading up the stairs, shop signs and windows mimic walking down a New Orleans street. <\/p>\n A jazz club is among those businesses advertised. No parking and tow away signs lead guests into the main area. <\/p>\n Second Floor An \u201cAuthentic Jazz\u201d club that serves up cajun food is advertised walking up to the bar area. The doorway for the jazz club has hour and a closed sign. <\/p>\n Behind a neon smiley face, advertisements for bayou bands and other attractions line one wall. <\/p>\n Another wall has even more advertisements with a sign the reads \u201cSpirits this Way\u201d pointing to the bar, with \u201cLiving Word\u201d pointing the other. Near the restrooms, a large butterfly photo-op reads \u201cLegendary\u201d above the bloodied wings, which appear pinned to the wall. <\/p>\n Other neon signs and advertisements take up most of the all space. <\/p>\n Mardi Gras decor hangs from the ceiling and lines the walls of the bar\u2019s main seating area. <\/p>\n The bar is themed to be \u201cLouis\u2019 Last Call,\u201d a Bourbon Street-style dive bar. <\/p>\n The deer on the wall wears beads and a chalk board sign list some drinks and \u201cHappy Mardi Gras.\u201d <\/p>\n The last of the decor included a \u201cLouis\u2019 Last Call\u201d neon sign, a \u201cDead End\u201d road sign, and several ads for beer and \u201clocal\u201d events. <\/p>\n The bars serves the following cocktails and beers:<\/p>\n Cocktails Krew Cup: $16.00<\/p>\n Krew Refill: $13.00<\/p>\n 16 oz Single Serve: $14.00<\/p>\n Who Dat? \u2013 Old Forester bourbon, lime juice, orange juice, Angostura bitters, Coca-Cola<\/p>\n Krew Cup: $16.00<\/p>\n Krew Refill: $13.00<\/p>\n 16 oz Single Serve: $14.00<\/p>\n The Dirty Bird \u2013 360 Vodka Madagascar Vanilla, 360 Vodka Sorrento, bing cherry, 360 Vodka grapefruit, lemon, lime juice, grapefruit syrup, Sprite<\/p>\n Krew Cup: $16.00<\/p>\n Krew Refill: $13.00<\/p>\n 16 oz Single Serve: $14.00<\/p>\n Sunset on the Fly Mocktail \u2013 Orange juice, pineapple juice, lemon juice, grenadine<\/p>\n Shot & A Beer \u2013 Choice of liquor shot (1.25 oz) with a canned Miller Lite<\/p>\n Cuervo Tradicional blanco tequila<\/p>\n Fireball<\/p>\n Jameson Irish whiskey<\/p>\n Fernet-Branca<\/p>\n Canned Beverages Abita Andygator<\/p>\n Modelo<\/p>\n N\u00dcTRL<\/p>\n Athletic Brewing Co.
