ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. \u2014 A 61-year-old man is dead after he was hit by a car in St. Pete.<\/p>\n
The St. Petersburg Police Department said this happened around 9 p.m. Sunday when Larry Brown was crossing 4th Street South near 17th Avenue South, outside a marked crosswalk.<\/p>\n
While walking, Brown reportedly walked into the path of a 2025 Kia K4 sedan.<\/p>\n
Brown was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. He later died Monday morning.<\/p>\n
Officers said the Kia driver was not hurt, remained at the scene and is cooperating with authorities.<\/p>\n
