\n\t\t\t\t\t\tThe Orlando Air Show, held annually at Orlando Sanford International Airport, has been canceled because of the federal government shutdown.According to a statement from the air show, which was scheduled for this upcoming weekend of Oct. 25-26, the ongoing government shutdown and subsequent withdrawal of the U.S. military’s participation led to the cancellation. The air show said it was unable to move forward with an all-civilian lineup because of “dramatically increased public safety costs” for this weekend’s show.People with tickets for the 2025 show will receive an email from the air show about options to defer their tickets for the 2026 show, which is scheduled for Oct. 3-4.U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds, a Navy F-18 Super Hornet demo, and a demonstration of a World War II-era P-51 Mustang were scheduled for the air show alongside stunt flyers John Black and Michael Goulian, among others.\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n
