(WCTV) &#8211; A man was arrested Saturday after \u201cfiring multiple rounds\u201d at a delivery driver in Leon County, according to a Leon County Sheriff\u2019s Office press release shared on Monday. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Aaron Harwell, 21, is facing a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, per law enforcement. <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"figure-img img-fluid mx-auto d-block\" alt=\"Aaron Harwell's mugshot.\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/6JR2R5RYINF3ZPDJSSMWKOSM6I.png\" width=\"980\" height=\"551\" \/>Aaron Harwell&#8217;s mugshot.(Leon County Sheriff&#8217;s Office)<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">LCSO says the incident unfolded Friday morning at about 8 a.m. in the 3200 block of Ridgeland Court.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">A delivery driver made a \u201croutine drop and pulled into the suspect\u2019s driveway due to low lighting,\u201d the sheriff\u2019s office press release said. The driver told law enforcement she could not see the address numbers on the home and was going to turn around. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Meanwhile, Harwell\u2019s sister notified him of a suspicious car in the driveway, so he grabbed his father\u2019s firearm and went outside, per the arrest papers. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">According to documents, Aaron positioned himself in front of the vehicle while it was in his driveway and stood in the roadway. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">\u201cWith the handgun down at his side, he put his free hand on the hood of the vehicle, advising the driver to \u201dStop!&#8221; Aaron heard the engine \u201crev\u201d and was in fear for his life, so he jumped out of the way to avoid being struck by the vehicle,&#8221; arrest documents read. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">As the woman drove off, Harwell allegedly \u201cfired multiple rounds at the vehicle,\u201d per LCSO.
