OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – A world of wonder opened up for 15-year-old Keyton Crone as he prepared for his Make-A-Wish<\/a> trip to Orlando.<\/p>\n

Keyton has a gastrointestinal disorder that requires him to receive all of his nourishment through a feeding tube.<\/p>\n

When asked where he was going during his send-off, he responded excitedly: \u201cDisney World!\u201d<\/p>\n

It\u2019s Keyton\u2019s first trip to Orlando, along with his dad and two brothers. He described his feelings as \u201chappy, excited, crazy!\u201d<\/p>\n

While Disney World is a large part of the trip, the destination Keyton is most looking forward to is down the road at Universal Studios Orlando.<\/p>\n

\u201cHarry Potter World,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Katie Crone is Keyton\u2019s mom. She said her son has loved Harry Potter for a really long time. <\/p>\n

His dad, Keena, said he\u2019s read some of the books so many times the pages are falling out.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s kind of what gets him through every hospital stay, because it\u2019s something that he can fall back on,\u201d Katie said.<\/p>\n

A trip was never possible until now, thanks to Make-A-Wish Nebraska.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s really cool to see how people\u2019s generosity affects these kids that spend a lot of time battling battles that are way beyond their years,\u201d Katie Crone said.<\/p>\n

Make-A-Wish Nebraska granted 118 wishes throughout the 2024 fiscal year <\/a>to kids all over the state just like Keyton.<\/p>\n

The family all agreed the most magical part of the trip will be experiencing this all together.<\/p>\n

When asked if he was excited to go with his family, Keyton said \u201cYes.\u201d When asked why, he responded: \u201cBecause I love them.\u201d<\/p>\n

For Keyton, Harry Potter isn\u2019t just a story about magic. It\u2019s about a boy who faces impossible challenges and finds the strength to keep going. For the next several days, his real life will be just as magical as the pages he\u2019s turned to for comfort.<\/p>\n

Keyton and his family aren\u2019t just stopping at Universal and Disney World. They\u2019re also visiting Sea World during their trip.<\/p>\n
