Page Six has learned that the rap mogul did a paid appearance at a Miami club in 2023 \u2014 but had the club pay the $100,000 fee in cash .\u2009.\u2009. to a company named after his then-84-year-old mother, Janice Combs.<\/p>\n
Diddy collected a $100,000 cash payment for an appearance at M2 nightclub during a Race Week \u201ckickoff party\u201d surrounding Formula 1\u2019s Miami Grand Prix. M2Miami<\/p>\n
The Bad Boy mogul appeared at the M2 nightclub for a \u201ckickoff party\u201d for Race Week, as part of the festivities around the Miami round of the Formula 1 car racing championship, on May 4 of that year.<\/p>\n
On May 1, organizers got a contract stipulating that the \u201cone hundred thousand US dollars\u201d appearance fee should be made in two installments and that \u201call payments shall be made via cash pursuant to .\u2009.\u2009. written directions.\u201d<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, the contract was made with \u201cJanice Combs Music Holdings Inc.\u201d<\/p>\n
The \u201cI\u2019ll Be Missing You\u201d singer\u2019s home was raided by the FBI less than a year later in March 2024, and at the time, he was facing a number of civil suits seeking hefty damages.<\/p>\n
Needless to say, he was soon on the stand in one of the most heavily covered celebrity trials of all time.<\/p>\n

In September 2024, Diddy was indicted in federal court on charges including racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution.<\/p>\n
In July 2025, a jury found him not guilty of those first two charges but guilty on two counts of transportation for the purposes of prostitution.<\/p>\n
He was sentenced to four years and two months in prison, and he was given a $500,000 fine and five years of supervised release.<\/p>\n
Diddy is now serving his sentence in Fort Dix, NJ, and he settled several of the civil suits against him, including one filed by ex Cassie Ventura for a reported $20 million.<\/p>\n
