(Copyright 2026 by WJXT News4JAX &#8211; All rights reserved.)<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">Police said that, while at the club, the 23-year-old woman who was arrested is believed to have provided the teenager with multiple alcoholic drinks. <\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">Several witnesses reported seeing the teenager heavily intoxicated that evening, JSO added. <\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">Detectives continued gathering evidence and interviewing witnesses to build a case against the man and woman, and on Saturday, Jan. 24, the police arrested the man on a misdemeanor charge of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">Police say the woman turned herself in on Feb. 2, and faces charges of child abuse, a felony, and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">\u201cWe do not take crimes against children and teenagers lightly.
