Cape Coral<\/a> extended their winning streak to nine on Tuesday, bumping them up to 21-3. Everything went their way against the Bonita Springs Bullsharks<\/a> as they made off with a 78-53 victory. The Seahawks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 matchups by 20 points or more this season.<\/p>\n Cape Coral’s win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Elijah Felix<\/a>, who went 5-for-9 on his way to 19 points along with seven boards and four steals. Felix is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he’s posted one of at least 45% in the last six games he’s played. Heziakiah Jones<\/a> was another key player, shooting 58% from the field en route to 17 points and six steals.<\/p>\n Cape Coral was working as a unit and finished the game with 22 assists. They racked up 11 more assists than Bonita Springs’ also-impressive total of 11.<\/p>\n As for Bonita Springs, their loss dropped their record down to 8-14. While losing is never fun, they can’t take it too hard given the team’s big disadvantage in MaxPreps’ Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 626th, while Cape Coral is ranked 192nd).<\/p>\n Bonita Springs lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Alexander Peralta-Delgado<\/a>, who went 5-for-10 to rack up 17 points. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last five games he’s played. The team also got some help courtesy of Ayden Kirkby<\/a>, who posted 15 points in addition to six assists and three steals.<\/p>\n Cape Coral has already played their next game, a 75-40 victory against Riverdale on the 29th. As for Bonita Springs, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 68-65 win against Ida Baker on the 29th.<\/p>\n
