Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg is adding another home to his property portfolio. The Facebook founder and his wife, Priscilla Chan, are in the midst of acquiring a lavish estate in South Florida, per The Wall Street Journal.<\/a><\/p>\n Worth roughly $230 billion<\/a>, Zuckerberg is the world\u2019s fourth richest person. While the property\u2019s exact sale price is unclear, the Journal reported that the pair likely paid between $150 million and $200 million<\/a> for the two-acre waterfront property, located on Indian Creek Island. In recent years, the 300-acre enclave, just off Miami Beach, has earned the nickname \u201cBillionaire Bunker\u201d due to its trove of eight-figure estates and wealthy owners, among them Tom Brady, Jeff Bezos,<\/a> Ivanka Trump, and Carl Icahn.<\/p>\n Zuckerberg\u2019s new property is located on Indian Creek Island.<\/p>\n The seller of Zuckerberg\u2019s new home is Jersey Mike\u2019s founder Peter Cancro, who spent a reported $37 million to buy the property in 2021. The home that Zuckerberg purchased was just completed.<\/p>\n Cancro never officially listed the property, so no photos or information is publicly available. Satellite images<\/a> obtained by the WSJ reveal that there are multiple structures on the plot, including a main house with an entry courtyard as well as a suspected<\/a> \u201cguest or guard house\u201d fronting Indian Creek Island Road. There\u2019s also a palm tree\u2013lined path leading to a rear pool area equipped with cabanas.<\/p>\n The island has earned the nickname \u201cBillionaire Bunker.\u201d<\/p>\n Zuckerberg and Chan\u2014who wed in 2012 and have three children\u2014reside in Palo Alto, where they spent years assembling a nearly two-acre compound.
