\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tERIC BURRIS TO TALK ABOUT THESE NICE TEMPERATURES. IT\u2019S COMFORTABLE THIS MORNING. LIKE IT DIDN\u2019T. IT WASN\u2019T SHOCKINGLY COLD. YOU KNOW WE\u2019RE STARTING TO GET A LITTLE BIT MORE TOWARD FLORIDA I LOVE IT I KNOW, I KNOW I KNOW IT\u2019S BEEN A LONG WINTER. HERE IT IS. IT\u2019S LIKE FEBRUARY. WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO? ALL RIGHT. SO LET\u2019S TALK ABOUT THE NEXT CHANGE BECAUSE IT IS A COLD FRONT. GOOD NEWS THOUGH, IF YOU\u2019RE NOT A FAN OF THE COLD IT BRINGS RAIN. IT DOES NOT NECESSARILY BRING IN CHILL. BUT SUNDAY IS THE TIMELINE, WHICH MEANS UNFORTUNATELY, RAIN IS GOING TO BE POSSIBLE FOR THE DAYTONA 500. NOT AN IDEAL SITUATION, RIGHT? SO WHAT I WANT TO DO IS LOOK AT THE DATA FROM THE AMERICAN GFS MODEL AND THE EUROPEAN MODEL. THE CONSISTENCY FROM RUN TO RUN ON BOTH OF THESE MODELS IS HIGH. THE PROBLEM IS BOTH MODELS ARE ON COMPLETELY DIFFERENT DAYS WITH RAINFALL. THE AMERICAN GFS MODEL SAYS MONDAY IS GOING TO BE A RAINY DAY, WHEREAS THE EUROPEAN MODEL SAYS SUNDAY IS GOING TO BE A RAINY DAY. THAT\u2019S A BIG DIFFERENCE. SO UNTIL THEY DIAL INTO EACH OTHER, THE CONSISTENCY OVERALL FOR THIS FORECAST IS FAIRLY LOW. NOW I WANT TO SHOW YOU THE EUROPEAN MODEL. JUST TO GIVE YOU AN IDEA, THIS FOR THE 500 WOULD BE WORST CASE SCENARIO ONE 130 RAIN WORKING INTO OUR NORTHERN AREAS, POURING AROUND CENTRAL FLORIDA AROUND 7:00 AND THEN EXITING AROUND MIDNIGHT. WHEREAS BASICALLY THE SAME TIMELINE WOULD PLAY OUT ON MONDAY IF IT WERE THE GFS. SO FOR NOW WE HAVE A SPRINKLE OR TWO IN THE FORECAST. THURSDAY, FRIDAY, SATURDAY. BUT I HAD TO UP THE RAIN CHANCE PRETTY SIGNIFICANTLY INTO SUNDAY FOR THAT VERY REASON. SO FOR SPEEDWEEKS, NOW THAT WE\u2019RE GETTING THINGS KICKED OFF OKAY, WE\u2019RE LOOKING GREAT FOR THE DUAL. WE\u2019RE LOOKING GREAT FOR THE 250. WE\u2019RE LOOKING GREAT FOR THE 300. IT\u2019S THE 500 THAT THERE MAY BE THOSE SHOWERS AROUND. I\u2019M HOPING THAT TODAY THE MODELS CAN START KIND OF DIALING INTO EACH OTHER. BUT WE\u2019LL HAVE TO WAIT AND SEE HOW THIS ALL PLAYS OUT. ONE OTHER THING I WANT TO POINT OUT IS THAT THE AMERICAN GFS MODEL BASICALLY SAYS WE\u2019LL HAVE OPPORTUNITIES FOR LITTLE DROPS IN TEMPERATURES THROUGHOUT THE END OF THE MONTH, BUT NOTHING SIGNIFICANT. SO NO MORNING LOWS IN THE 40S IN THE METRO, FOR EXAMPLE. FOR THE REST OF THE MONTH, YOU KIND OF GET THE IDEA. WE\u2019RE HEADING INTO A WARMER STRETCH OF WEATHER. IT\u2019S BEAUTIFUL. AT LEAST. HERE\u2019S A LIVE LOOK. OUTSIDE. THERE\u2019S ARTEMIS TWO AT LAUNCH COMPLEX 39. BE READY TO GO TO THE MOON. NO. 40 IN THE METRO. WE\u2019RE AT 53 IN THE CITY, 52 IN THE VILLAGES, 49 OUTSIDE IN OCALA. FORECAST TODAY BRINGS THOSE TEMPERATURES UP INTO THE MID 70S BY 1 P.M., 77 DEGREES. OUR 3:00 TEMPERATURE IS GOING TO BE A GORGEOUS DAY EVEN ALONG THE SHORELINE. LOW TO MID 70S FOR US. REALLY NICE WEATHER, WEAK FRONT. BASICALLY JUST GIVES US THE OPPORTUNITY FOR A SPRINKLE OR SO THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS. BUT THEN THE BIG WEATHER STORY PLAYS OUT ON SATURDAY AS WE START WATCHING THAT DEVELOPING STORM SYSTEM THAT WILL EVENTUALLY MOVE OUR DIRECTION. SEVEN DAY FORECAST SHOWING THAT RAIN COVERAGE HIGH ON SUNDAY AND SOME OF THAT SPILLING INTO EARLY MONDAY. BUT WE HAVE TO TIME THIS OUT AND SEE HOW IT PLAYS OUT. COASTA\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n
