JACKSONVILLE, Fla. \u2013 Four teenagers were arrested after being accused of ambushing a man, demanding he get out of his car and firing shots at him<\/a> last week in Northwest Jacksonville, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n

Police said the teenagers \u2014 two 16-year-olds, a 15-year-old and a 14-year-old \u2014 are facing armed robbery and attempted murder charges in connection with the Feb. 3 incident that started as an ambush in the Norwood area. <\/p>\n

Just before 11:40 p.m., police responded to reports of an armed robbery and shooting on Crestwood Street.<\/p>\n

According to JSO, initial investigation revealed the man was sitting in his car when he was approached by the four armed suspects. Police said the suspects then ordered the man to get out of his car.<\/p>\n

When the man got out of his car, the man and the suspects began firing at each other, JSO said.<\/p>\n

The man struck two of the suspects, one in the leg and the other in the back.<\/p>\n

Both of the suspects were transported to a hospital in stable condition.<\/p>\n

The 15-year-old suspect is still recovering from his gunshot injury in a local hospital, police said.<\/p>\n

\u201cParents, please be vigilant as to who your children and teens are spending time with. There are resources throughout our community to offer the next generation a path away from violence,\u201d JSO wrote in a Facebook post announcing the arrests.<\/a><\/p>\n
