TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Some beneficial showers are possible through this evening. The rain will NOT be enough to improve drought conditions in the Big Bend and South Georgia. <\/p>\n
Light Rain on Wednesday<\/p>\n
Despite the sun breaking out this afternoon, a weak weather system to our north will bring clouds and scattered light to moderate showers across Big Bend and South Georgia this evening and overnight.<\/p>\n
While the rain won\u2019t be significant, every bit of moisture is needed. The region continues to face ongoing drought, and this rainfall will provide little relief to the dry soil.<\/p>\n
A cold front will move through tonight, so there is still a chance of light showers until the front passes tonight\/tomorrow morning. Lows will drop to the low 40s to low 50s.<\/p>\n
Pleasant to end the week<\/p>\n
Fog will continue to be a concern on Thursday morning before dissipating by mid-morning. Plan extra time for your morning commute.<\/p>\n
The region will enjoy pleasant weather on Thursday afternoon and Friday with mostly sunny skies and highs in the upper 60s to mid-70s. Overnight lows will remain in the low 40s to low 50s.<\/p>\n

A strong cold front arrives on Sunday in the southeast. <\/p>\n
Ahead of the front, humid air will be back. The humidity could help keep the area a bit cloudier. If skies remain mostly cloudy, moderate to heavy downpours are more likely than severe weather. If we break the clouds, stronger storms will be something to watch out for because of the winds upstairs in the atmosphere. <\/p>\n
