At the time of publication, our report shared that Backstreets Capital had secured approval for The Cade from the St. Petersburg Development Review Commission.<\/p>\n<p>Now, sales have launched, with the cost of homeownership starting at $1.7 million. Plans call for just 15 luxury residences occupying the mid-rise building\u2019s second through seventh floors. Floors two through five would comprise 13 three-bedroom residences measuring 2,169 to 2,302 square feet; floors six and seven would host two four-bedroom penthouses spanning 3,420 square feet.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-37995\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/Screenshot-2026-02-11-at-5.14.21-PM.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1200\" height=\"764\"  \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-caption-text\">Interior renderings of The Cade. Future owners would also have the ability to curate their own living space through custom-ordered cabinetry, countertops, and flooring. Some amenities include a second-story covered patio and plunge pool, a fitness center, and a reading nook, along with other extensive offerings.<\/p>\n<p>As noted, Backstreets Capital is the developer. The St. Petersburg-based firm was also behind <a href=\"https:\/\/floridayimby.com\/2023\/12\/the-nolen-tops-off-construction-at-126-4th-avenue-northeast-in-downtown-st-petersburg.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">The Nolen<\/a> and The Salvador condominiums, two developments in Downtown St. Petersburg.
