Hinchcliffe joins Dario Franchitti as former IndyCar drivers competing in the first street race in NASCAR Truck Series history.<\/p>\n
MOORESVILLE, N.C. \u2014 The “Mayor of Hinchtown” is returning to the drivers seat to make his NASCAR\u00a0<\/a>debut later this month.\u00a0<\/p>\n In a Feb. 12 press release<\/a>, Spire Motorsports announced that six-time IndyCar winner, 2016 Indianapolis 500 pole winner and 2011 IndyCar Rookie of the Year James Hinchcliffe will drive the team’s No. 77 Chevrolet Silverado during the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race on the streets of St. Petersburg<\/a> on Feb. 28.\u00a0<\/p>\n Hinchcliffe will make his NASCAR debut at the track where he scored his first IndyCar win back in 2013.
