\u2022 I\u2019m ticked off at the NBA for making us watch Monday night\u2019s Orlando Magic game on Peacock. In one of the most clownish productions I\u2019ve ever seen, they had the names of the players directly above them and following them on the screen. The result of this was that the view of the ball was often obscured when shots went up. Also, they placed a large rectangle at the top of the screen with player stats. This was also a huge distraction from our viewing pleasure. That\u2019s what box scores are for!<\/p>\n
\u2022 Every day, we see pedophiles luring children through cell phones and the internet. I ask, again, where are the parents? The children do not watch the news to understand these problems. It is the parents\u2019 responsibility to educate their children on these issues. It is also the parents\u2019 responsibility to teach them knowledge of the world: good, bad, evil, caution.\u00a0 If parents instilled the fact their child was loved and wanted, it might lessen some of these problems. It would be helpful if schools could add some of this (maybe a short \u201clife awareness\u201d course for each grade).<\/p>\n
