The expanded reach strengthens WDAE\u2019s position as a go-to destination for local and national sports talk while continuing as the flagship radio home of the Tampa Bay Rays and the radio outlet for Florida Gators football and basketball. The station also delivers extensive coverage of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Tampa Bay Lightning and USF Bulls.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cExpanding WDAE\u2019s heritage brand strengthens our long-standing broadcast and marketing partnerships with the Tampa Bay Rays, Buccaneers, Lightning, Florida Gators and USF Bulls,\u201d said Russell Robertson, Market President for iHeartMedia Tampa Bay. \u201cThis evolution also reflects our continued commitment to serving Tampa Bay listeners across multiple platforms.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am beyond excited for Tampa Bay sports fans,\u201d added WDAE PD Nick Wize. \u201cThis is a championship market, and we\u2019re delivering a strong, engaging lineup that brings fans closer to the teams and conversations they care about most.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>WDAE\u2019s weekday schedule begins with \u201cThe Pat &amp; Aaron Show\u201d (6-9am), followed by \u201cThe Dan Patrick Show\u201d (9am-noon), \u201cThe Nick Wize Show\u201d (noon-2pm) and \u201cThe Drive with Tom Krasniqi\u201d (2-6pm). Evenings include \u201cTampa Bay Sports\u201d (6-7pm), \u201cThe Odd Couple with Rob Parker &amp; Kelvin Washington\u201d (7-10pm), \u201cThe Jason Smith Show with Mike Harmon\u201d (10pm-2am) and \u201cThe Ben Maller Show\u201d (2-6am).<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the Spanish-language CHR programming previously heard on WRUB shifts to a pair of FM translators \u2013 the Pinellas Park-licensed W237CW at 95.3 and the Tampa-licensed W275AZ at 102.9 under the new brand Rumba 95.3 &amp; 102.9. The station will continue featuring contemporary Latin hits, including Reggaet\u00f3n, Urban Pop, Bachata and Salsa.<\/p>\n<p>The 95.3 signal previously simulcast WDAE and the 102.9 signal carried country \u201cUS 103.5\u201d WFUS.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRumba 95.3 and 102.9 will continue to deliver a vibrant, high-energy music mix tailored to Tampa Bay\u2019s Latino community,\u201d said P.J.
