Six Tampa Bay radio stations will combine efforts next week for a 24-hour, commercial-free radiothon to raise money for Johns Hopkins All Children\u2019s Hospital in partnership with Children\u2019s Miracle Network.<\/p>\n
The fundraiser, \u201cWe\u2019re All In for All Children,\u201d will begin at noon Thursday (Feb. 19) and run continuously through noon Friday (Feb. 20). It\u2019s organized by Cox Media Group Tampa Bay and will air across its six local stations: adult contemporary \u201cMagic 94.9\u201d WWRM; urban AC \u201c101.5 The Vibe\u201d WTBV; talk \u201c102-5 The Bone\u201d WHPT; soft AC \u201c105.5 The Dove\u201d WDUV; classic rock \u201c107.3 The Eagle\u201d WXGL; and \u201c97X\u201d WTBV-HD2.<\/p>\n
Plans call for the stations to broadcast stories from patient families and hospital staff, highlighting the hospital\u2019s care, treatments and programs. The effort marks the company\u2019s largest annual fundraiser and coincides with the hospital\u2019s 100th anniversary on Feb. 19.<\/p>\n

There is no better time to support this mission than during the hospital\u2019s centennial year.\u201d<\/p>\n
Hospital officials said funds raised during the radiothon will be donated as unrestricted support, allowing the facility to address urgent needs, including research, medical technology, education and patient care programs.<\/p>\n
