{"id":155134,"date":"2026-02-14T03:33:13","date_gmt":"2026-02-14T03:33:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/155134\/"},"modified":"2026-02-14T03:33:13","modified_gmt":"2026-02-14T03:33:13","slug":"14-arrested-gaming-machines-seized-after-massive-raid-at-hialeah-bar-nbc-6-south-florida","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/155134\/","title":{"rendered":"14 arrested, gaming machines seized after massive raid at Hialeah bar \u2013 NBC 6 South Florida"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A massive operation at a Hialeah bar on Friday ended with authorities arresting 14 people and seizing gaming machines from the establishment on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>The Hialeah Police Department, along with the Florida Division of Alcoholic Beverages and Tobacco, Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement and other agencies, executed &#8220;Operation Luna Ca\u00edda&#8221; at La Lunita Cafeter\u00eda in the 200 block of West 8th Court.<\/p>\n<p>Investigators found alcohol was being sold without a proper license, officials said. They also discovered ledgers that documented gaming machine payouts and unlawful alcohol sales, resulting in four gaming machines being impounded.<\/p>\n<p>Among the arrests was a security guard accused of distributing narcotics, and ICE agents took three people into federal custody.<\/p>\n<p>Also among the arrests were the manager, assistant manager, two servers operating as \u201cB-girls,\u201d multiple narcotics-related arrests, and arrests for outstanding warrants. Police have not identified those arrested.<\/p>\n<p>The bar was shut down pending further administrative and criminal proceedings.<\/p>\n<p>In January, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcmiami.com\/news\/local\/video-shows-gunman-open-fire-in-broad-daylight-outside-hialeah-cafeteria\/3748544\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">video showed a gunman shooting someone<\/a> outside of the business.
