ST. PETERSBURG \u2014 Police are investigating a homicide after a man was shot and killed inside a residence Saturday evening.<\/p>\n
At approximately 7:30 p.m. on February 14, officers responded to a report of a shooting at 2501 1\/2 7th St. S. Upon arrival, officers located an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound inside the home.<\/p>\n

The victim, identified as 38-year-old Denardo Woffard, was pronounced dead at the scene.<\/p>\n
According to investigators, Woffard was an acquaintance of the resident who lives at the home. The two men became involved in a dispute, during which the resident shot Woffard.<\/p>\n
Detectives interviewed witnesses throughout the night. No charges have been filed at this time. The investigation remains ongoing.<\/p>\n
