Baseball \u201cfuture Hall of Famer\u201d<\/a> Max Scherzer and his wife, Erica, are listing their Jupiter, Florida home for a grand $36 million in exclusive Admiral\u2019s Cove, Gimme Shelter can reveal.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The legendary pitcher, 41, last played in the World Series for the Toronto Blue Jays \u2014 and he wants another shot. Scherzer recently told the Athletic <\/a>that he is \u201chealthy and ready to sign at any moment if certain teams call.\u201d\u00a0(That could mean the Yankees, sources said.)\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Scherzers bought the Florida property in 2023 as a tear-down and are in the process of building a custom waterfront estate that was to be their \u201cdream house.\u201d It\u2019s slated for completion later this year or early next.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cThey love the house, and they were planning to move in. But then they toured Atlantic Fields, the Discovery Land Company property in Hobe Sound, and they pivoted,\u201d a source said. \u201cThey fell in love with the acreage offered, which is similar to what they had in New York during Max\u2019s time with the Mets,\u201d the source added.<\/p>\n

The five-bedroom, 8.5-bath property boasts natural stone and organic materials. It features 325 feet of wraparound Intracoastal waterfront with a new seawall and a raised, corner lot that\u2019s one of the highest in the community. It all sits on .67 of an acre.<\/p>\n

Outside, there\u2019s a design-forward infinity pool with a glass enclosure, as well as a summer kitchen with a pizza oven. There\u2019s also a new dock that can accommodate a boat up to 88 feet.<\/p>\n

The Scherzers, who have four children, are known for exquisite taste in real estate. They have purchased nearly everywhere Scherzer has played. Their\u00a0$15 million home outside of Washington, DC,\u00a0<\/a>when Scherzer played with the Nationals, sold in a day in 2021.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
