ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. \u2014 A group of pink buildings has caught the public’s attention, and it didn’t necessarily have anything to do with Valentine’s Day.<\/p>\n

An entire downtown St. Petersburg block, consisting of six buildings, was recently painted pink at the corner of 4th Ave. S and 4th St. S.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s part of a new art-infused luxury condo tower being created by a local developer and the French furniture designer Roche Bobois.<\/p>\n

It will be called Roche Bobois St. Pete Tower<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Residents in that area will see work going on over the next three years.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Roche Bobois St. Pete tower is a project born of art,\u201d said Moises Agami, CEO of Valor Real Estate Development. \u201cIt does not incorporate art, but\u2014instead\u2014is actually the child of architecture, design, and art coming together. Art is the ethos of St. Pete, and it is this character that we\u2019re celebrating and bringing to life. What you are seeing today and into the future on this site is not only paying homage to the rich and vibrant arts community but also the true St. Pete resident that lives, works, and plays here.\u201d<\/p>\n

A groundbreaking will be held later this year, with completion expected in 2029.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"ST.
