This $20 million events space will feature the same ornate decor as the rest of Celestial Park. Plus, construction continues on adding permanent fireworks launch sites to the park. Universal Orlando has not announced this project officially, so everything we know about it has been from permits publicly filed with Orange County.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/orlandoparkstop.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/p915-hardscape-demo.jpg\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-42273\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/p915-hardscape-demo-1024x801.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"801\" class=\"size-large wp-image-42273\"  \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p id=\"caption-attachment-42273\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Project outline as seen in permit image, fasttrack.ocfl.net<\/p>\n<p>New permit details confirm this will be a \u201cnew event space facility building of 53,886 gross square feet total that consists of 2 levels. This will be for catering special events at the venue as needed.<\/p>\n<p>Above the kitchen, on the second floor at the back of the structure, plans describe offices and meeting rooms. These offices will be utilized for park services beyond the needs of just the event space itself.<\/p>\n<p><a around the existing liquid nitrogen tank, keeping the concrete pad where it sits unaffected by upcoming construction.<\/p>\n<p><a shops located to its left, like Other Worlds Mercantile and Moonship Chocolates, this building appears to have been designed to fit right in with the rest of the park.<\/p>\n<p>The roof in these exterior views appears to be covered in solar panels, just as had been described in recent permits.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/roof-view.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-42620\" multiple examples are given in official documents, as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bizjournals.com\/orlando\/news\/2026\/02\/12\/universal-epic-universe-new-expansion-event-space.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">first reported in the Orlando Business Journal<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Events held here could hold 1,200 to 1,400 guests at a time, with optional set ups to be able to include banquet tables and seating, and\/or a stage, a dance floor, and more.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/stage33-recent-crop.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" backstage near the New York section of the park, this event building will contain restrooms at the front portion of the building, as part of its entrance lobby.<\/p>\n<p>Also like stage 33, it appears, at least in these plans, that the name for this structure will simply be \u201cSound Stage.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a With the permits and plans calling for offices, training rooms, entertainment storage, team member break areas, and other park services planned as part of this project, these elements may be playing a fireworks at Epic Universe.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/orlandoparkstop.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/HBDrR7eWcAEpRSF-FIREWORKS.jpeg\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><img in prior updates<\/a> closer to shore.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/orlandoparkstop.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/HBDqDxdWoAAbof3-FIREWORKS-BUNKERSclose.jpeg\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" Unchained in Dark Universe and Battle at the Ministry at Wizarding World.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/both-crop.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" fasttrack.ocfl.net<\/p>\n<p>These two permitted spots are where we expect the secondary fireworks launch sites to be located.<\/p>\n<p>A new nighttime show, called \u201cCelestial Goodnight\u201d in a trademark filed by the company, has been rumored to be hopefully ready this year. Despite thinking of Vegas as a desert, its water table is quite shallow and 100% of TBC tunnels (and station\/ramps) are submerged and thus have required comprehensive water management plans and infrastructure.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The proposal does say that the loop stations themselves could be located either underground or at surface level, just like in Las Vegas.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/orlandoparkstop.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/boring3.jpg\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-42677\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/boring3-1024x453.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"453\" class=\"size-large wp-image-42677\"  \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p id=\"caption-attachment-42677\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The Boring Company ground level station, Shingle Creek Transit and Utility CDD<\/p>\n<p>The company claims its Vegas Loop can transport more than 4,400 riders per hour utilizing 70 vehicles. The number of vehicles in a fleet, station sizes, and even additional tunnels can be added on to the system as needed for growth.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/orlandoparkstop.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/boring9.jpg\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-42679\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/boring9-1024x685.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"685\" class=\"size-large wp-image-42679\"  \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p id=\"caption-attachment-42679\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Vegas Loop tunnel entrance, Shingle Creek Transit and Utility CDD<\/p>\n<p>A deal is not yet finalized, but they can move forward working with the company now that the district has voted.
