(WITN) &#8211; The City of Jacksonville has announced its 2025 assistant municipal manager of the year.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The North Carolina City and Council Management Association presented the honor to Deputy City Manager Ron Massey.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The NCCCMA, an organization dedicated to city and county leadership roles, created the annual award to recognize outstanding assistant managers.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Massey retired as a Colonel following a 30-year career in the Army and has served as Jacksonville\u2019s deputy city manager for 18 years.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">\u201cIt is no surprise to us that Mr. Massey has been honored with this award,\u201d said City Manager Joshua Ray. \u201cHis talent is a unique blend of leadership skills and management improvement.
