Courtesy logo<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.blackhillsenergy.com\/outages\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Black Hills Energy<\/a> provides transmission service to SDCEA in Fremont and Custer Counties. Black Hills announced on Monday that a Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) Watch would be in effect for Tuesday, February 17.\n<\/p>\n<p>As of 10:25 a.m. on Tuesday, SDCEA announced that Black Hills changed their PSPS Watch to a warning status for the hours of 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. As of 10:45 a.m. SDCEA announced the warning status continued.\n<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe suggest our members in the Tallahassee area, Fremont County, and in Custer County prepare for an extended outage during these times,\u201d states SDCEA.\n<\/p>\n<p>SDCEA states it will monitor the situation closely and alert members as soon as is possible if it receives more information.\n<\/p>\n<p>SDCEA has been posting updates on its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/SDCEA.Inc\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Facebook page<\/a> and website, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.myelectric.coop\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">MyElectric.Coop<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Black Hills Energy Map shows PSPS warning status as of 12:38 p.m. on Tuesday, February 17.
