Central Park St. Pete<\/a>, the five story food hall that has been rumored to be \u201ccoming soon\u201d for over five years now, is finally opening its doors at 551 Central Ave Thursday, Feb. 19. Sort of.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Two of the eight restaurant and bar concepts, Palm Avenue Deli and Constellation Burger, will be serving food for take out and delivery only from 5-10pm starting Thursday, Feb. 19.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Most New York delis don\u2019t stock Aperol behind the counter next to the mustard, but Palm Avenue Deli does. With this hot take on a classic New York City deli, you can enjoy an aperol spritz with your pastrami reuben and other deli classics.\u00a0<\/p>\n

At Constellation Burger, customers can expect, you guessed it: burgers, alongside other fast casual staples like french fries, chicken tenders, and crispy chicken sandwiches.<\/p>\n

The other eateries waiting to open include four bars, a taqueria, a high-end asian restaurant with a sister street food joint, ice cream, smoothie, and pizza shops, and a pasta spot.<\/p>\n

Central Park has yet to announce a full grand opening date, and this will be the first look into the building that has been years in the making. The project was first announced in early 2020, two years after Dome Grill closed. Work began on Central Park in 2021, but extensive renovations, construction of its new basement, and delays have taken several years to finish.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The 27,700 square-foot hall is opening under Hi Hospitality\u2019s Culinary Director Chef Hart Lowry. <\/a>The company sees Central Park as a destination \u201cwhere gourmet street food meets modern culinary and mixology innovations.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n
