So, when the former Mets outfielder \u2014 now a special assistant within the organization \u2014 views the collection of players before him at Clover Park for spring training, he\u2019s most struck by the athleticism.<\/p>\n
It\u2019s a cast that includes new additions Bo Bichette<\/a>, Jorge Polanco, Marcus Semien and Luis Robert Jr.<\/a>, with a top prospect, Carson Benge, competing for a job<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cI think right now we have a lot of athletes, which I do like,\u201d Beltr\u00e1n told The Post this week. \u201cWe have guys that can impact the game.
