The Port St. Lucie Jaguars<\/a> will head out on the road to challenge the John Carroll Catholic Rams<\/a> at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Port St. Lucie is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they’ve averaged 10.6 runs per game this season.<\/p>\n

It was a proper cat-fight when Port St. Lucie faced off against Legacy on Tuesday. The Jaguars put the hurt on the Lions with a sharp 12-4 win. The victory continues a trend for the Jaguars in their matchups with the Lions: they’ve now won three in a row.<\/p>\n

Anthony Resendiz<\/a> and Timothy Casper<\/a> did most of the damage at the plate: Resendiz got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI, while Casper got on base in three of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases and three runs. Steven Lehman<\/a> also deserves some recognition as he got his first hits of the season.<\/p>\n

Port St. Lucie always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .514. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Legacy only posted an OBP of .344.<\/p>\n

Noah Kehres<\/a> was cooking despite his team’s loss, going 3-for-4 with three RBI and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Rhen Solesky<\/a>, who went 3-for-4 with two runs and one double.<\/p>\n

Port St. Lucie’s record now sits at 4-1. As for John Carroll Catholic, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.<\/p>\n
