{"id":160688,"date":"2026-02-19T02:30:24","date_gmt":"2026-02-19T02:30:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/160688\/"},"modified":"2026-02-19T02:30:24","modified_gmt":"2026-02-19T02:30:24","slug":"tampa-resident-killed-after-being-hit-by-dump-truck-at-construction-site-fhp","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/160688\/","title":{"rendered":"Tampa resident killed after being hit by dump truck at construction site: FHP"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>MANATEE COUNTY, Fla. \u2014 The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) said a person was killed after being run over by a dump truck at a construction site of a new subdivision in northern Manatee County. <\/p>\n<p>The incident happened around 12 p.m. on Feb. 18.<\/p>\n<p>FHP said a dump truck was backing up to unload at Bella Mar Trail, east of Diamond Reef Drive. A person was outside the truck helping the driver back up when the pedestrian tripped, fell to the ground, and was run over by the truck.<\/p>\n<p>The 53-year-old Tampa resident was pronounced deceased by Manatee County EMS.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/JULIE.SALOMONE.png\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Son remembers mother who was one of four victims killed at Sarasota County home<\/p>\n<p>Olga Greinert was one of four people shot and killed at a home in Sarasota County on February 10.
