MATLACHA, Fla. \u2013 The Florida Department of Transportation reports there will be overnight lane closures on the Little Pine Island Bridge from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. on the following dates:<\/p>\n
n Friday evening, Feb. 20, through Saturday morning, Feb. 21<\/p>\n
n Sunday evening, Feb. 22, through Monday morning, Feb. 23<\/p>\n
During these times, paving operations will be conducted on the Little Pine Island Bridge. Flaggers will be present on site to assist with traffic control.<\/p>\n
Motorists are asked to continue exercising caution and to reduce speeds while traveling through the work zone.<\/p>\n
Please note that construction schedules remain subject to change due to weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances.<\/p>\n
FDOT reports that the bridge reconstruction will deliver long-term improvements to the transportation infrastructure serving Pine Island and the surrounding communities.<\/p>\n
