“As a Black-owned business in the St. Petersburg community, Jacaranda Hill represents more than a storefront. Being a local business owner means cultural representation as we take pride in being a cultural anchor, sharing the richness of African heritage and the beauty of its artistic traditions with our neighbors. It also means empowerment through art and building a legacy,” said Pippa Hill.

The store showcases traditional techniques including Batik, Block Printing, Macrame, and intricate Beadwork. “Our presence is a commitment to economic empowerment and a testament to the strength and creativity of Black entrepreneurship in our community,” added Hill.

Jacaranda Hill’s mission is to bridge the gap between soulful African craftsmanship and the modern connoisseur, fostering an appreciation for handmade quality over mass production. “We honor traditional techniques passed down through generations.
