A suspect broke in, pepper sprayed an employee, and attempted to steal a towed vehicle with cash left inside at a local Orlando business.<\/p>\n

According to the Orlando Police Department, officers recently responded to a towing business on Ferguson Drive after receiving reports that a suspect had broken in, pepper sprayed an employee, and attempted to steal a vehicle. Once on the scene officers located the employee with visible eye irritation consistent with pepper spray exposure, according to local law enforcement.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>OPD stated that the suspect, Quabreshe Long, was safely taken into custody after initially failing to comply with commands.<\/p>\n

During the investigation, police officers learned the suspect unlawfully entered the lot, attempted to remove a towed rental vehicle, moved a tow truck to clear her path, struck a gate multiple times, and pepper sprayed an employee when prevented from leaving.<\/p>\n

Officers recovered a pepper spray canister, a loaded handgun, oxycodone pills, and more than $49,000 in cash. Investigators learned the suspect had left a portion of the cash inside the vehicle when it was towed and later broke into the lot in an attempt to retrieve it.<\/p>\n
